Tokyo Guidebook
This guide book and blog-style journal is based on my experience of living in Tokyo for 10 months. It highlights my favourite places. It was designed to appeal to both foreigners traveling to Japan as well as the local Japanese (especially girls ) who are intrigued by my “gaijin” point of view.
It is divided into sections, one for each neighbourhood and includes a map and a local creative feature with their recommendation for the area. There is also a few special travel stories; one being a 3-day trip to see Tadao Ando’s architecture. I wanted it to feel like an insider’s view to Tokyo. I am very fortunate that all my wonderful friends in Tokyo are local Japanese. This really gave me local insight and allowed me to have truly authentic experiences. I hope to update it on my next trip to Tokyo and finally publish it.
